I own a 2004 mazda 3 and obviously it wont start. I changed the oil today, but had an incident. The previous oil filters seal stuck to my car, and so when i put the new one on it didn't really have good seal (i didn't realize this). I started the car, and began to hear a noise. I looked under the car and there was oil spewing out from around the filter. I replaced the filter and the oil, but to do that i put the car in neutral and pushed it back 5 feet so i wouldn't have to lay in a puddle of oil. I did leave the key on as i took my other car to get some more oil and some kitty litter to clean up the mess. But ive done everything right from there. It has been on a charger for about and hour now, and still no results. I reset the computer on the car, just incase i tripped some electronic switch from the drop in pressure, and still no results. So, does anyone have any advice?
A: Even with the computer reset, it sometimes may take a while for the car to recover from something. I would reset the computer again, turn off the car and walk away for an hour or two... or overnight and try again in the morning.
Q: My 2004 Mazda 3 driver side window goes down but wont always come up?
Hi, I have a 2004 mazda 3 and my driver side window goes down but then doesn't always come up, I have to keep playing with it and try closing the window and then it finally goes up. I'm just worried one day it will go down and then wont end up going back up. I took it to my mechanic recently when I had an oil change and he told me he played with it and it ends up going up, but didn't fix it and just told me not to use it. He also mentioned that it might need a new switch, but i'm worried that since he didn't fix it, that it might be a complicated thing to fix.
Can it be anything other then the switch needs replacing? And is this an expensive thing to fix?
A: Your mechanic sucks big time. He should have given you a pretty clear idea concerning the repair cost, instead of "not to use it". If it's the switch, he could replace it in 15 minutes. replacing switch is not very hard. You can DIY in halr an hour. Get yourself a new mechanic.

A: You need to get some dental floss or fishing line. You are going to place it like you are going to floss your teeth (but about 6 inches between your two fingers). "Floss" the sidemarker from the rear. When it's between the lens and the fender, pull towards the front of the car. You will be pulling on the plastic tab that holds it in. It snaps back into place.

i sent my alternator in to be rebuilt. well after about a month my battery light in my dash started blinking stating that something is wrong with my battery or alternator. the battery is new! the company that rebuilt my alternator told me that my Mazda has two Voltage Regulators, one in the alternator and one on the car. My Mazda dealer is telling me that my car only has ONE and it's in the alternator. someone please help!!!
A: believe the dealer they dont put seperate regulaters in newer cars take your alternator to someone else or buy a different one
Q: Can my 2004 Mazda 3 wagon (2.3 liter) pull a small trailer?
I borrow friends trucks to move mulch, hardware, plants and furniture and instead of buying a small truck, I was thinking my Mazda could pull a small trailer. I've seen it done, but didn't know if it wasn't good for my car? Where I live the roads are very flat...don't know if that makes a difference.
