I am shopping for it. I looked on the internet and there is no metion of the 2007 model, only the 2006... but at my local dealers, they sell it as a 2007 model.. so, is there a Mazda 3 year 2007 officially out there or is this a marketing trick?
A: The 2007 Mazda3s are slowly trickling into dealers. You could probably get a decent deal on a 2006 now. Most dealers around here (Midwest) only seem to have one or two of the 2007s. I have read that the website and dealer brochures/etc. will be updated in the US at the end of September or beginning of October.
Theres a press release on the Ford/Mazda website that lists the changes to the 2007 model -- a search should find it.
By the way -- the Mazda3s are incredible.
Q: I need to pull a small boat with my 2007 Mazda 3. I found hitches that fit, but would it be a horrible idea?
I know that my manual says no towing...but this boat isn't even as heavy as a jet ski. And i've seen plenty of small cars like mine pulling as much.
A: Do you have the 2.0L or 2.3L engine? I would think either of them would be fine to tow something that weighs less than a jet ski. Just take it easy with your Mazda.

Who should I contact? 2007 Mazda 3 air bags failed in an accident. I was going 35-40mph and rear-ended a stopped vehicle. The air bags did not deploy at all and I have some neck/back injuries, and am concerned that the manufacturer may need to do a recall so that this doesn't happen to other people.
I am not looking to sue anyone, I am just concerned about safety here!
I spoke with the dealer twice since the accident in June. They brushed me off both times and weren't at all concerned.

What other suggestions do you have?
A: I had my low beam headlights changed from the factory HID's to Xenon. I have PIA Xenon headlights. I think it is necessary, another important change for safety sake is the horn, get a dual horn, my choice was Hella. I would shop around and make sure the brand that Mazda installs and the cost of the installation is on par with a different choice and a different shop. I have a lowered car, as a result, I am most comfortable with the Xenon and fogs on at the same time. In my State we are being over run by deer, in this case the Xenon lights provide a broader and higher field of view. The light spectrum is closer to a truer white light. The standard fog lights fill in the dark space in the middle of the road in front of the car, this set up works for me.
The benefit of Xenon lights is that it does not draw as much power from the electrical system which frees up power if you have a driving stereo system, a more crisp night time visibility and the service life of Xenon lights extend beyond that of HID lights. I hope this helps.

Hello I am installing an after market navigation system, and I need to to connect it to the vehicle’s speed detection circuit (sensor).
Where is this sensor located and what color are the wires?
Car: Mazda 3 i touring 2007 (4 door sedan)
Navigation: Pioneer Avic N3
I found the Speed sensor, it is on the top part of the engine, the only trouble is that the signal is digital, so now I am searching for a non digital signal.
