Q: Mazda 3 (2008) fog lights?
I have a 2008 Mazda 3 and am thinking of installing it with Zenon fog lights that fit inside the front bumper. Do these zenon fog lights increase visibility at night? With them being so close to the ground, will they light anything?
A: yes, it will increase visibility
you will see better the near ground area in the front of the car, like 15 feet or so
to have a better long view you need to change the high beam but at short distance the fog lamps will work good

Roadside Assistance No coverage $0
Limited Loan/Lease Payoff Coverage selected $22
P.S Am I insured against uninsured drivers, because in one of the lines where it says uninsured motorist it says no coverage so I am confused.
Please help
A: The reason you do not have uninsured property damage is due to the fact you have collision on your policy (you would need it if you only had liability ins) But the uninsured bodily injury was a good idea-
Anyway, your limits of coverage are excellent. Not many people carry 100/300/100, and most should. As for the price, I am assuming you are over 25 with a good driving history, cause it's not bad at all... Good job finding those rates with that amount of coverage!
Q: When will the 2008 Mazda 3 be coming out in the US and will there be any changs?
A: The 2008 Mazda 3 is already out as of 2-3 weeks ago. The major change is that they went to SULEV (Super Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle) on the motor and that makes the horsepower drop. On the type S you will have a 151hp motor and the i model 144hp (for California vehicles). No cosmedic changes (looks).
Q: 2008 Mazda 3 vs. 2007 Saab 9-3?
If you had to pick one of these cars, which would it be?
2008 Mazda 3 Grand Touring in white
and
2007 Saab 9-3 in blue
A: the Mazda3 has been the number 1 car in it's class for the last 3 years. Even with the CX7 and CX9 release it still represents a large portion of our sales and prior represented 75% nationwide. Never in service, I mean never for anything but oil changes and tire rotation. Mazda was #1 in reliability for 2007 as reproted by the Reliability Scale nudging Honda and Toyota. Resale is even higher than a Civic which held that title prior for about 10 years. The 3 has been highest for past 2 years. if compared with the 2.0T you are well more powerful and still less expensive have more power, limited slip standard and more space. With the price difference you can buy a warranty to match the Saab and still have walking around money. More power and less curb weight than the aero and better gas mileage. obviouslly less expensive. Now the turbo X is a monster but almost 2X the money. i'll tell you one thing I have yet to trade in a Saab that hasn't had an issue. i have a friend who puts some crap on his 3 and blew the engine and Mazda is warranty'n it right now. Cost of repair will be rediculous. don't forget 18inch wheels and a 6 speed tran and direct injected engine. Top 10 in Wards 2 years straight. Top 10 cars.
But the variable assisted hydrolic steering is the best thing and it's nto robbing you of your power.
Q: Honda Civic 2008 or Toyota Corolla Altis 2008 or Mazda 3 2008?
Which car is better on all features?-Honda Civic 2008 Mod.?
Toyota Corolla Altis 2008 Mod.?
or Mazda 3 2008 Mod.?
A: mazda 3 all the way.
Q: how much would a 2008 mazda 3 hatchback be?
new? stick shift? is it reliable?
A: Between $16,000 and $23,000 depending on the model you choose.
Q: MAZDA 3 GS 2008 BREAK IN PERIOD HELP?
Hi I got a 2008 mazda 3 GS just wondering about the break in period, I've had it for a week and I've only been driving it about 10 mins away from home max so I guess I won't have enough km's to pass the break in period, and now i have to go downtown and I'm worried that I'll ruin the car cuz I will be on the freeway/hwy for a long time there n back going 11O/km/hr so what's the deal?
A: Most modern engines don't need the same kind of "break in" periods.
The main recommendations would be to not over-rev the engine, and not to run the motor at the same RPM level for extended periods.
Q: does the 2008 mazda 3 have motor mount issues to. Does this cost alot to fix. 16 and will be driving it hard?
thinking about this car. Should i get it?
Is it reliable and can it take the beating that a teen driver will give it.
NEEDS TO LAST
is the transmission good
IS THE CAR GOOD
thanks everyone
A: If you think you have enough money to spend on gas while your "driving it hard" then I hope you have enough money to start fixing things after they break (incl motor mounts).
Q: 2008 Mazda 3 or 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer?
I'm looking to buy a new car and I've narrowed it to these two. Which one would be good for someone who has to commute 20 miles, round trip, 5 days a week?
Please, no mention of the Civic or Corolla!
OH YEA, that reminds me, what about a Chevy Cobalt, four door?
Note: I'm getting a stick shift, not an automatic.
A: Your selection is down to 2 excellent choices, dont let someone else tell you whats fit their lifestyle, you have to find out on your own what fits your needs.
Take both vehicles for an extended test drive, and you will choose one over the other.
Be it the money - handling - comfort or space
Cobalt .... good choice,,,, I like the Focus also, would I buy a new one, never, big savings buying a low mile lease return.
Q: 2008 Mazda 3?
Im planning to buy a mazda 3, but the basic one that costs $14,500. How much downpayment can i put in order for the letter to be under 300/400 dollars. thanks!
A: Mazda has special APR rates right now. 0% for 36 months, 4.9% for 48 months and 5.9% for 60 months. Add sales tax to your car and go to www.bankrate.com and calculate your payment.
Q: Whats so bad about Ford engines?? My 2008 MAZDA 3?
I've gotten answers from people who absolutely love their Mazda 3s and also from people who think they are crappy and prefer other options like the Mitsubishi Lancer. But a lot of the time criticism is born from the fact that Mazda is partnered with Ford.
Why is that such a bad thing??
A: I had a 2004 Mazda 3s, and absolutely loved it; it never gave me a bit of trouble.
There are always going to be people who criticize one brand or another, whether they do or don't know the facts about a particular vehicle or brand. EVERY car manufacturer has its problems, so it's not like any brand out there is perfect in every way. Some people are just die-hard, and stuck on one particular car company.
If you like your car, keep it. I found mine to be really reliable, and it made great gas mileage. A person should always buy a car based on what they like, and their opinions...not everyone else's. You're the one making the payments, so get what makes you happy!
Q: Will the insurance be high on the 2008 Mazda 3 GT? Does anyone own one?
A: That depends on several factors ( age, etc. ). Personally, I would not own one. Go for a Honda or a Toyota. You can't go wrong.
Q: 2008 mazda 3 4-door sedan is it fast?
i was just wondering if has fast acceleration and if its pretty fast by the way i might be getting a automatic .
also i have this other question the new mazda 3 sedan the 2.3 litter engine has this new feature thats called 5-speed electronically-controlled Sport AT i asked the dealrer he explained to me but i didnt understand him that well ..what i understood was that it was almost like shifting gear like in a manual car ..can someone explain that to me better if they know ..
thanks so much in advance and ill make sure to give someone 10 points.
A: First you gotta ask yourself which model are you comparing the acceleration to. Mazda 3 has a heavy chassis and undercarriage so don't expect it to fly off the blocks.
As for the AT-i, its kind of a semi manual shifter whereby you do not have any clutch to step on. Just switch to the + and - found on the gearbox and you are ready to go. Its quite a good feature whereby when you need to drop a gear, shift to - and the car shifts down immediately. Enjoy your Mazda 3 should you get one!
Q: Should I get a 2008 Mazda 3?
Im 16 and im getting a car soon. Im thinking about the Mazda 3. I found one for about 14,000. Is this a good car??
A: Mazda 3 is a good car and it has a good reputation. Try to find one with the 2.3l instead of the 2.0 engine. Have you checked what the insurance will be for someone your age on a Mazda3?
