It is starting to look dry. How do I restore the top to its original dark black color? What can I use? If i have to buy something it has to be from a near by store like walmart, and how much will it cost me?

A: use armor all, there will just be a "shine" or something like that, its what i used on my mustang. it does the trick. its about 15-20$
Q: Mazda Miata? HELP!?
How many miles can you expect to get from a 1993 Mazda miata before things start needing fixed? I am debating on buying a 93 miata with 190,000 miles, can I expect to have to make a lot of repairs in the near future or should I get a few years out of it with only basic maintenance?

A: The Miata is about as well-built and durable a car as any out there but 190k miles on any vehicle all bets are off. It is all about how well it was maintained by the previous owner(s). If they have extensive, well-organized records (are anal retentive) then you probably have yourself a good buy. If they look at you like you have 10 heads when you ask when was the last time the Timing Belt was changed run, don't walk away from it.
Of course it is always a good idea to have a mechanic go over the car as a condition of purchase.
