Q: Is the 2006 Mazda Mx-5 Miata a girly car?
Since November 2008, I have passed my driver's test+training and my first car ended up to be a pearl-white 2006 Mazda Mx-5 and ever since, I had a ball with it. Including the joys of dropping the roof in December-january, which is rare in a hot place like Thailand.
But recently, I watched the Discovery channel's world's Top TEn sports cars, and the Mx-5 ended up second place. But guess what, Chad Mcqueen called it a "girls car", and I'm mad at him!
PS: I"m a guy and I don't carry a purse..
A: Those who say it's a girls car generally fall into one of two groups:
1. They're ignorant of the racing heritage (it's the SCCA's most frequently raced car) and success of the car and have no idea how hard it corners and how quick it is on a road course.
2. They have an innate need to stir up trouble just for the sake of stirring up trouble, generally a sign of a self image problem they're trying to make up for.
When someone makes this assertion the natural question is which of these two categories are they in?
P.S. Another thing to think about, there are some girls who are competition drivers and can out drive 99% of guys. What does this fact do to the stereotypical definition of a girls car?
Q: Miata stereo question?
I just bought a 2006 mazda miata GT with the Bose Stereo system. Does anyone know if there is a way to connect my iPod to that system (wired, not RF).

A: If you haven't already, check in with the experts on Miata.net. I have an older miata with the Bose system, and there didn't appear to be any easy way to accomplish iPod connectivity, but check with folks that own and drive your year and model! The 'forums' area are excellent that the folks there generally love to lend a hand.
Q: honda s2000 or mx-5 miata?
Im looking at both these cars, Im not sure what to get....I like the perfomance and exterior of the honda s2000 but the interior is a bit dated. I like the interior of the mx-5 miata but the perfomance is a bit low.
any sugestions on what to do?
