Q: Can a mx-5 engine work in a 1993 mazda rx7?
i was just wondering. i love the rotary but i need better gas mileage.
A: I'm guessing it would be too tall to fit properly. But it is doable. The MX-5 was the test mule for the renesis engine while the body was still being hammered out. There are v8 install kits out there. I have a friend that is in the middle of putting a LS6 in a 87 model.
Q: Do Mazda RX7's give a lot of engine trouble?
I'm thinking about buying a 1993 RX-7 R1 version that is in good condition, only has 33, 215 miles on it, but some people been telling be that Mazdas give a lot of engine trouble. So, is this true?
Do y'all know anyone (or you personally) that has a RX-7? And does it give a lot of engine problems
A: You are looking at what is considered a 3rd generation RX-7. The rotary itself is pretty well bullet proof on all the generation of RX-7 as long as they are well maintained. I have friends that race them and they do a lot less engine rebuild then their piston engine running friends. That said, the 3rd generation is known to be very complex electronically and it develops gremlins that can be hard to find. They are still worth a lot and sell for quite a bit. Most user group and a number of publication would tell you to get a generation 1 or 2 and buy the very best you can find. Contact your local chapter of RX7 owner and ask lots of questions before you buy. Club people are usually very friendly and will help. Various car owner clubs have saved me from mistakes I would still be paying for!!!! Good luck. P.S. These engines do tend to be thirsty!!!!
Q: What cars can beat the 2003 Infiniti g35 coupe?
this guy i know has an infiniti g35 coupe and he was bragging how he beat cars on the streets but i heard they were slow. i was thinking could a 2002 rsx type S beat it? or maybe 1993 mazda rx7 or 1995 nissan silvia. <------- those cars im considering of buying. if they can't beat it, please give me alist of cars who can
Thanks alot
A: the infinity will run to 60 in a little less that 6 sec so any car quicker than that will do, newer model all wheel drive subaru's are good places to start but expensive also my personal fav. a decent cobra will run it down real quick (that type acura listed above is probably a sec or so slower and that rx7 hard to find will run with it after some mods, but remember when it comes down to the hundredths of a sec in times, it all depends on the driver and a manual trans or modded automatic
Q: will an rx7 hood fit a 2nd gen probe?
Haveing a hard time finding a carbon fibre hood for a 1993 probe gt. I was just wondering if a mazda rx7 hood might fit the probe.
If i could afford an rx7 i would get one right this second, unfortunately i'm only 16 and only working part time...
A: No..... You cant find a hood for your probe because they suck. Go get the hood for the RX7, then get a RX7 to put it on!!!
Q: how much would a insurance be?
how much would insurance be on a 1993 or 1994 mazda rx7?
im really wanting this car and im hoping that it wont be to expensive
A: The first time most people think about insurance is with their first car or home. Usually this is because the law or bank requires us to do so. Although renter's insurance is usually not required, it is just as necessary to have. Not only will renter's insurance protect your personal items, it will also give you help with temporary housing and liability protection such as medical expenses for people on your property or a lawyer if you are sued by someone unintentionally injured by you. Once you determine your need for renter's insurance, knowing your options will help you choose the best policy.
If the ceiling in your rented property is damaged by wind or hail in a storm, of course the ceiling is covered by your landlord. But what about your brand new stereo and TV that was damaged? Also, while the ceiling is being fixed, do you have enough money to immediately find another place to stay? These are the types of things that would be covered by your renter's insurance policy. Along with personal property coverage and living expenses, your renter's insurance policy will also cover your liability or damage you cause to others or their property. For example, your girlfriend comes over to visit and she slips on the ice outside your door. The same walkway that is your responsibly to keep clear! Your girlfriend needs medical attention and decides to sue you! Renter's insurance can't help with your broken heart, but it will help you pay for your ex-girlfriend's medical expenses and a lawyer.
Now that you have decided renter's insurance is for you, there are some things to consider when purchasing your renter's insurance policy:
1. Dollar Amount of Coverage: This is a leading factor in the price and coverage. A dollar amount is not placed on each piece of property, instead a fixed amount for all of your possessions will be determined. Of course, the more coverage you purchase, the higher the price of the policy.
2. Deductible: This would be a leading factor to consider in the cost and how much you are willing to pay out of pocket before your insurance kicks in. Coverages subject to the deductible would be everything except liability coverages, like paying for your girlfriends medical expenses.
3. ACV(Actual Cash Value) or Replacement Cost: When the insurance company comes to reimburse you for your stereo and TV what they give you is determined by these factors. A basic policy will pay you ACV, which is the value of the property at the time of loss. But, if you opt for replacement cost you will get an actual replacement. For example, your 5 year old stereo will be replaced with as much money as it would cost for you to purchase a new comparable stereo. Expensive items prone to theft such as jewelry and guns, only have limited coverage so it is wise to place these items on a separate policy. Replacement cost is well worth the small amount more it may cost for your policy.
4. Location and Previous Claims: If you rent in an area prone to thefts you will probably pay more for your insurance and if you or the previous person or neighbors have had a large amount of claims, this may raise the cost of your policy.
Even if you feel your personal property is not worth enough to insure, the value of having liability coverage is well worth renter's insurance. Remember, as with all insurance policies, check with your agent on specific coverages. Each policy can vary between companies and states.
